If you pause the video at 55 sec, the fella with the dark tracky dacks and the big beard and cap looks at the camera. He looks like Augustus Brayshaw.....am I going nuts?

One second in the first frame 2 to the right of Kingy. It does look like Gus.

To have him back anyhow we could

Let's do it. Clean by hand and foot and get to that break and a prelim.

A must win. Go girls do it

Bugger, zankers injured.

We can't win a trick this season.

Bloody hell.

Banno needs to step up now.

Great goal Kate.

We really need to convert our chances at goal now

Cracking game so far

I wish our men played with this amount of pressure and desperation

Zanker could be done for the day, concussion it seems.

It might allow us to balance the forward half better, I feel we usually look a bit top heavy.

...anyway that's my positive spin.

We've started well and Banno is more involved than she has been most of the season.

Thanks for joining me in this investigation 640MD. If you listen to the video at the 45 sec mark , someone says something like "Saturday Night", it sounds exactly like Gus. It's just as the camera goes behind this mystery man.

I've been impressed with our smothers & yes our girls are relentless & don't give up on the tackle

lack of composure witherspoon. had plenty of time to make a better decision there

In the back not paid then free to Davidson.

Davidson a few secs earlier tried to take out Shell with an elbow...

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
