If this happens we will have to get a midfielder or someone more experienced in somehow. If this doesn't happen we are a bottom 4 team. Way to set Kingy up for success.

I hope that is wrong from Morris. I really want to post it back to him every day for a year. Even if I have to have 250 Twitter accounts cos he blocks me.

Morris is a shocker, just like that deal. I think that's it isn't it, the media morons think they're part of the deal...god I hope they all end up having non idea that would be delicious.

Mind you we give these [censored] oxygen by listening to them and posting about what they say...its all a bit gross...he types as he sits there listening to Trade Radio hoping for some kind of meaningful update haha I NEED TO DO MORE WORK!

Ok trac is gone, but if we don't get a ready made player to replace trac and Oliver ,then we will not play finals .

And don't forget we have our senior players getting at that age ,so I don't like king's chances of getting this team playing finals any day soon

i’m sure tom would love us to get BH but everybody knows it’ll be 7 & 8 now

Tom would not. Tom is a sexist fl¢g and should have never been able to work in the AFL industry ever again. He [censored] all over the club when employed by them shows what sort of excrement he is.

Tom would be happy to watch the Dees stay terrible so he could gleefully kick us.

Not everyone. Not the MFC 😉

Morris is a mouth for rent

The behaviour from some on here is odd. Can’t wait until trade period is over so they can start blaming something else for their general unhappiness.

Seriously ? LOL

The only heads turning with that deal should be the GCS recruiting team watching Tim Lamb walking out of the room giving them the bird

I hope this club has found a spine - if they accept that it would be a laughingstock within the AFL competition - just another to add to all of our other cringeworthy records

We are a bottom four team now, with that.

So 7 and 8 mean nothing to me.

Humphrey or no dice.

Because if you knew the history with Tom Morris and our club and the Petraccas, you'd understand why Melbourne supporters and the club cannot stand him.

I hate Tom morris more because his mail is usually spot on. I’m really hoping this is one of the cases where he’s spinning [censored] up like the ratty [censored] he is.

Just got an update. Dees still pushing hard for Humphrey who should come out in the next 24 hours with a trade request.

His mail is usually spot on because he gets it from Trac's team

So in this case, you need to take it with a large grain of salt

i definitely agree, he’s a [censored] bloke no doubt but his mail is usually spot on so i think the reporting is just what’s accurate more than him wanting the club to fail

We are bottom 4 side with them so why would you want to keep them?

Huge, he needs to do it before the end of the day (god I hope).

Nearly all AFL scribes get their info from player managers so that is no surprise.

Some managers are good at playing folk 😉

I am not saying it's a surprise, I am saying that Tom and the Tracs have a close relationship, and Tom is trying to help out his mate, the same way he did last year

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
