I agree though, it makes the most sense to trade to us, but its BH that's decides.

I watched him at under 18 level and if he was 182cm tall I have no doubt he would have been a top 3 pick. Hes a jet but hes bloody tiny..

I think the thing that offsets this is his pace. I compare him (crudely) with Spargo, but the attribute he has over Charlie is leg speed. Both elite kicks, he's probably more creative by hand than Charlie too, but they're relatively similar players, minus the pace.

If we could walk away with Humphrey, Steele and Rogers for Trac, Clarry and Spargo, we're re-setting beautifully. If I could dream one step further and say replace McVee with Harry Oliver in a Clarry trade, Adam's extremely excited and still a God.

He doesn't need to publicly nominate us, the 'family reasons' is a way for GC to backtrack their stance on 'we are not trading him never ever ever'

And then when the Trac deal happens say 'it was an opportunity to help Bailey return home for family reasons, while also allowing us bring in a big name star'

If he were asking for a trade back to Vic, surely we'd have said to Gold Coast that if this request comes, you tell him it's MFC or nothing. Let them know if they agree to trade him somewhere else then Petracca is off the table. Surely we have some leverage there. Understand his preference may be another club, but we may need to be firm if these rumours are true.

If GC don't want to trade him to us for Trac, then I imagine they want to trade him even less to Hawks or Pies for picks or players who are not Trac

Other than Curnow, who doesn't seem keen on them, who else can they even get in a 3 way trade that brings them what Trac brings to the table?

Sam Edmund said it 5 days ago that he thinks a trade is happening. He didn’t just say it today and I don’t think he said to Melbourne, Just believes a trade will happen.

I think there is no incentive for the Suns to trade him to the Hawks or Pies right now, and BH knows it. the reality is they'll be offered what they'd offer for him in the future.

the opportunity to sign a Christian Petracca might never come up again if they blow it, if BH wants to come back to vic it does make some sense if they've got to lose him to get a star in return instead of average picks.

Excitement is officially returning after a fairly dissapointing off season so far.

He said it again today on Trade radio.

Said something along the lines of "The Suns are still running with the stance they won't trade him, but there is momentum behind this and i believe this is happening."
