Absolutely! I would regularly attend games if they were in Melbourne at the above grounds or others

Ridiculous to expect us to travel 50+kms at odd times

Just looked at the fixture, we don't play north in the H&A, as long as we stay 1st or 2nd (Them vice versa) and win our finals we wouldn't meet them until a GF.

The elevated heart rate isn’t as serious as first thought because there seems to be a reason for it… a combination of recovering from a virus + dehydration.

Thanks for this update, it was very concerning. Really glad that every precaution was taken - as Mick basically said, health (and Heath!) is more important than footy.

Pun opportunity had to be taken

I'd hoped to watch the replay before commenting, having seen it live, but no dice. Anyway, yeah, we stole that one. So many mistakes. Dropped marks, fumbling, bizarre decisions with ball in hand. We lacked that run and gun, and the Pies were onto it (credit to them). Do we persist, given the the personnel situation, or tweak it?

When it came to the crunch, the class and desperation of Hanks, Chaplin, Hore, McNamara and Bannan led the way. Aided by the Pies’ inability to put the game away, of course. Harris was also huge in the air on a day when we saw costly, uncharacteristic, spilled marks from Hore, Gall, Zanker and Campbell. Would have loved to have had Heater on Bonnici in the second half. Glad she's seemingly ok.

Shout out also to our young brigade who toughed it out. At one point our backline was: S.Taylor (6 games), Wotherspoon (11), Ebert (3), O’Hehir (3) and Rigoni on debut. As a wise man repeatedly said, there were learnings.

On O’Hehir, she’s gotten better in every game of her short career so far. Keep that trajectory and the sky's the limit. Love that bit of dash and long kick; is fairly accountable defensively as well. Rigoni competed hard and it was just so good to see her out there—supported by a big contingent of family, friends and ex-Demons including David Schwartz, who I saw seated at the cheer squad end when I went to grab a drink at quarter time.

On the venue – love it. Actually, I think I'll make a separate thread about this, because it's something we all have views and ideas about, and it's probably the biggest off-field topic for this team.

You can say we stole it and you could also say great teams never give in.

This is a team that our club should be really proud of.

Great observation about our backline. It's quite incredible how the inexperienced players have just stepped in.

A great result and I'm really happy that Heath is ok and she'll be back in next week fingers crossed. She's a tackling machine.

But Pies coach Sam Wright's game plan, in which Collingwood denied Melbourne the uncontested possession that proved so damaging in big wins over the Western Bulldogs and St Kilda in the first two rounds, could unlock the opportunity for other teams to knock off the Demons, former Lions premiership player Kate McCarthy said.

"Sam Wright put on a coaching masterclass this afternoon at Vic Park, McCarthy told The Wrap on Sunday night.

Agree. It was dumb football, you can’t give the umps the opportunity to give the pies a free. The Pearce in the back was particularly unnecessary- need to just be going for the spoil in that situation and should have cost us the win if not for the terrible kick by the pies player. I hope they have focused on making smarter decisions in tight games this week. Giving up so many frees in the last two mins is not acceptable, whether the frees are justified or not.
