Exactly Mitch Hardy goal!!

i hate the preferred c7 way of shooting footy - they much prefer an in-close view which means you have no idea of where the space is around stoppage

tc gives away a dumb free and they goal from a free

2.5.17 to 1.1.7

Just saw players like Trac at the game.

Good stuff.

looks like the entire squad is there to support the team - may, van rooyen, trac, jack, turner, gawn, and oliver all shown in the crowd

First goal to UmPies after 2 consecutive rubbish free kicks.

pup brown has absolutely zero faith in his own kicking

he had time to nail the pass but instead handballed it inside but patrick ireland marks the 7m pass and nails the set shot for his first in casey colours!

Patrick Ireland. Goal!

Great passage of handball transition by Casey sees a goal. The last kick in the chain would only have gone 10 metres, but young Ireland gets his first.

billings is absolutely killing it - it feels like around stoppage he's winning every clearance

laurie either overcooks the pass to fullarton or misses the shot at goal, and he has 0 goals 3

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
