Frawley Petterd buckley or brown?

i hope buckley makes his debut

can we drop petterd, bit stiff on his behalf

no dropping pettard hes spectacular since hes been in the side IMO

it would be a bench like this Pettard, PJ , Holland then 1 of YZE Buckley or frawley

i honestly dnt think frawley will make the cut and i would like to see Buckley debut.... it would eb exciting as for Yze we dnt know if he will play a soft game on Monday if selected or a good game ...i think Buckley should get the nod ahead of YZE

How is Davey's Knee?

Buckley will only play if Davey doesn't although I'd like to see him in for Brown. No reason to play Holland, Frawley to Cloke and Carroll to Rocca, Bell get Didak, Petterd to Davies, Biz gets the next tall and Ward goes back.

Melbourne is paying $13 to make the finals from here.

In my opinion this is a very, very poor bet.

I would think odds of at least $50 would be closer to the mark.

I guess this means that there are a few people out there who think the Dee's are still a chance.........

Not I.

$13 represents a 8% chance of the bookies thinking that we can make the finals - representing the fact that the bookies understand that Melbourne (without injuries) are a better side than the ladder indicates...

Actually it sort of raises an interesting point ... the public/media in general have been quite understanding of our plight this year... Neal Balme certainly didn't receive that sort of understanding in 96, 97! Slightly Different circumstances i realise...
