23 yo

Collects the footy

Has speed and endurance

Plays forward as well so can rotate through there.

We have salary from brayshaw and ANB leaving.

Go and get him!

Whilst it seems a few journos agree with you, there is NO WAY we’re splitting pick 5 and entering the Smith race — if could kick, MAYBE but losing a Smilie or even a Harry Armstrong is just not gonna happen! Pick 5 this year is like pick 1 many other years there’s that much talent split across the top 20 it’s insane!!!

Can confirm.
Would not touch with a ten foot pole.

jack steven was a former aints skipper who had a slew of off-field issues, including being stabbed in the chest shortly after the trade to the puddy tatts was completed

he didn't even complete a full season down in sleepy hollow and retired at the end of his first season with a year to go on his contract

Jack Steven had more than a handful of great seasons. He was a brilliant powerhouse midfield player not too dissimilar to Clayton Oliver. His decline was rapid.

fingers crossed clayton doesn't have the same slide into ignominy

If we could get him for a second rounder I’d go for it. At his best he makes our mids so much better. Also releases Langdon or Windsor into the ANB role, or plays it himself.

We are losing our only runner and we are already slow. He instantly makes us better.

We have a bloke called Ed Langdon who is the best runner in the comp...

Yes, sure.

But we are a slow team. Langdon aside. Bailey Smith fits our needs. I still think he makes us significantly better.

I'd like more speed, but I don't think we're as slow as say Brisbane.

Add AMW, Windsor, McVee, Chandler, Lingers to each line, I wouldn't say we're slow.

Speed of ball movement is more important. Think the MFC 2018.

Hate to break it to you but this ain’t gonna happen. Not even a possibility in any universe.

I know. But after a terrible year I’m just going to dream. I don’t want us to, nor see us trading away pick 5 so that’s the only way it happens.
Almost definitely won’t, that’s ok, but I think he makes us better and whoever he goes to after the dogs he will be desperate to get back to his best form and stick it up Bevo.

There are list cloggers and thread cloggers.

Move on from Smith.

  • PREVIEW: Geelong

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
