Moved him on for a reason. Culture killer. End of.

What do you actually mean by culture killer?   He appeared to be well liked and respected.
Yes, he could be a momentum killer if that’s what you mean.

Typical intelligent response.

You might reflect that it's actually possible to applaud intelligent decisions and criticise faulty ones.

May & Lever were great but when I'm told Frost is no loss because we've got Oscar McD I seriously wonder about their judgement.

And I would suggest that history has judged me & Frost to be correct.

There is absolutely no chance of this being true. Fantasy land. Just think about it.

Good luck to him.

Back when it was rumoured he was leaving I rang the Club to complain because I thought he was one of our best tall defenders despite the occasional brain fade.

I was told not to worry because Oscar McDonald was improving & he & Tomlinson provided adequate cover.

I was & still am very sorry to have lost him. I think he wanted 3 years & we only offered 2.

And yet Sam Mitchell sings his praises & now the Hawks are in the finals & have one of the best defences.

Think that says it all about our coaching & development and your judgement.

I'll never forget his chase down tackle of Petrucelli over here in the west. The Eagles so-called speedster chose the wrong bloke to take on and ended up embarrased with his jumper torn to shreds. I've never screamed ball as loudly and felt so vindicated when it was awarded. These days I'm sure it would have been paid a free kick against Frosty for a dangerous tackle.

Enjoy:

postscript: I forgot about the missed 15 m pass after this play...truly encapsulates the enigma that is Frosty.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
