NON-MFC: Round 04

Just hoping the rest of the games this round are all bloodbaths with every team coming out worse for wear (especially Lions)

They’re playing Norf, which is good as they’ll win and the pressure will come right off. I certainly don’t want to play a 0-5 Brisbane coming off a loss to a bottom side!

It would probably be easier to just list which side they’ve beaten in the last 10 years.

Playing North a great way for Lions to find some form. North are game and will have a crack early but likely to fade in 2nd half.

But if they do manage to beat the Lions i will laugh heartily.

We wouldn’t need Langdon and Windsor if we played on this ground.

Nibbler and Spaz very stiff

How is Petty being named in the fwd line "on form"? And agree, Nibbler and Sparrow [censored] all over several of those selections.

If i had my choice of one player to take from North, it would be Larkey

Bewildering umpire non-decision just cost North a goal.

it would help if North stopped handballing straight to Lions players

Pointless review no 1 for the game.

I predict a total of 5 for this game. Seems to be par across games this year so far

Just have a gut feel that Alastair Clarkson's coaching stint at Norf won't end well.

It’s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
