Home (or is that "home" - it's Collingwood...) final, too!

Yeah, call me childish but I quite like the start of this one also.

Why does this thread always turn into  MFC player and coach bashing?

Some avoid the postgame threads after a loss and come on here to talk about other games specifically.

You watching this Goody?

That’s how you move the ball Goody.

Why didn’t we recruit this tall bloke?
Does my [censored] head in.

Just got home from being away for the long weekend

Reading this thread, thinking it might be safe from the des copping grief form their own fans. Alas, not to be.

DZ's post above was written during the Giants v Pies game, one the Giants went on to smash the Pies (easily could have been more).

I'll keep reading.

I wonder if I'll see multiple posts writing the Pies' flag chances off. Because you know, poor loss first round and it curtains and all that.

Even if it is against a finalist from last year on their home deck in tricky conditions. Reasons = excuses.

Some equal opportunity hyperbole.

Or maybe there might some balanced comments about where the Pies are at?

Pies looked good enough to suggest they will be thereabouts again - like us their F50 personnel is probably their main weakness

They will miss McStay as much as we miss Petty. Johnson was disappointing, Cox was just that, Mihocek is slightly better than JVR arguably, Hill is their Pickett and Schultz is very overrated imo, Elliott always asked to play taller than he is, McCreery is ok but no star

And a football action.

Surprised Cox didn't jump onto Mummy with a shoulder to the head, given Coll get the green light and all

Pies defence was terrible. I think some of it can be attributed to being one short there every time Little Nicky goes for a wander upfield. Every turnover and it's extra numbers ahead of the ball for the oppo.

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?
