I haven't seen this game tonight but they are seriously underperforming.

I fear for Vossy, don't know whether the board can hold their nerve...

Voss isn't an AFL standard coach. Carlton should be pushing top 4 and nailed on finals with their list, not bottom 4.

I’m concerned Essendon will finish top 4 with a weak as water fixture to come home with.

Can someone allay my fears?

Most hated team, full of entitled supporters who find every excuse when they lose. was so nice having them quite for so long. Can't stand seeing them in the 8

I don't care where Essendon finish, as long as they don't win a final.

History tells us they won’t 😂

You really are scared of a lot of other teams.

There’s going to be a super ordinary side this year that sneaks into the top 4.

Essendon, St Kilda, Adelaide…

I think their list is over-rated. They have three elite players: Curnow, Weitering and Cripps. McKay should be but has the yips, Docherty is OK, but the rest are average.

Walsh and Cerra are good. Pitonett is a very decent ruckman. Their small forwards are nimble. Their list is significantly better than St Kildas. Yet one team plays like a team and the other has no idea what to do.

Thats really sad

Desperately sad.

No conviction yet and may be found not guilty. First problem is bail. Has prior and will want to leave state. And travel to other states. In his favour,  he has young family in melb plus employed in an environment where he will be monitored.

Depending on precise allegations I think he would get bail.

Tragic.

Good stretch if found guilty.

Presumably didn't tell club. That would usually warrant a suspension.

This weekends game Blues against the Suns at the G will be MOTR, most of the round is pretty dull with no pies ,bombers ,despicable dees , crows even inform hawks  incl.

Alot of people will go just to watch them lose. Lucky for them AFL gave them a Vic game not gold coast where they would almost certainly have lost.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
