Looking for a single ticket anywhere in the ground, any price, for the game against the Bombers.

If there are nine other people who are similarly stuck for a ticket, we can club together and book a box! Seems ridiculous that you can't buy a single ticket, but you can buy a box for ten people, but I guess that's modern footy/business. 😒

Will try to help you with this.

I’ll PM you either way. 🙂

I'm heading over without a ticket as well. Seems a bit sad to go all that way to watch it on the tele but my own fault. I completely missed the urgency. Would also appreciate any help.

Happy to put in for a box or whatever. Thanks

I have a couple of spare tickets because I'm heading into the SACA rooms now. You're welcome to both if you two don't mind sitting together. Send me a PM if you want them.

This would have been great, but I'm now sorted, thanks so much.

Keep checking ticketek, expect on Thursday for a few tickets to go on sale :)

For Gather Round only, anyone wanting a ticket can email their expression of interest to:

[email protected]

No guarantees since cancellations have to happen in order to free up tickets. And you may not be informed until as late as Thursday or Friday. Worth a try. 👍🏽

Hi, I may have a free, available ticket to give to someone. Should I email details to this email listed?

Definitely! They’ll make sure someone uses it. That’s very kind of you.

@Flower Magic if you take Clintosaurus’s ticket, can you please let me know? Or email [email protected] to inform them that you no longer require one. TIA 👍🏽

Flower Magic has one already.

Waiting on deespicable_me now. Someone's pm'd me asking for the two, so if deespicable_me wants the Clintosauraus single then it'll all work out nicely.

Hi there

I have a spare ticket available. The ticket says it's for a double-header (Melbourne v Essendon, Port v Bulldogs).

Happy to give it to whoever wants it, or else I'll shoot an email to Demon Army later in the week.

Cheers

Done!

Thanks for posting that, Andy (David)

Seems the predicted heavy rain has deterred some people, resulting in about 22 tickets up for grabs. 10 are in our bay, two are further back behind us and 10 in another part of the ground. Hopefully they’ll all be snapped up.

The available tickets for Gather Round are all now taken. If anyone has emailed DA ticketing but still hasn’t got one, there may be cancellations so something may become available. 🤞🏼

Anyone who’s looking to sit with or near the Demon Army, this is where we’ll be…

Note we’re not directly behind the goals. That’s because Port’s cheer squad has the home cheer squad bay to themselves. Whatevs. Probs for the best that we’re not sharing a bay with them: don’t wanna have to listen to ankle bracelets going off all day. 😂

Of the utmost importance is this:

STRICTLY MELBOURNE FANS ONLY IN OUR BAY. No opposition fans, even if they’re your friends and they’re nice ppl.

It’s not pleasant having to ask anyone to leave our bay, and it’s not fair that our members are put in this position. But it will happen if need be. At our ‘Gabba match we had to ask some Lions supporters to leave our bay, and they did without ado. But best we avoid this situation. 👍🏽
❤️💙

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
