Spot on Mr.Leg. what about our second champion ruckman. Living off a quarter in a game nearly 12 months ago.

LJ’s worst game of his 50. Terrible.

I think he has checked out.

We will know next week.

I am accepting of him going if we can fix issues with our list. Grundy, A key forward from Freo and a pick to get another, plus add JVR, BBB  and Tom for a year and we are much better off.

WT Truck do we play him in the ruck so often? We have the best ruckman in the league and we play him in the forward line where he is a liability

If that's the case he should be dropped. (Though that would devalue him.)

Yes I forgot about that issue. What a great game he played last night.

Not harsh at all if we persist in playing a guy that gets 13 possesions and one lucky goal then good luck!

How was his goal “lucky”?

And it wasn’t even a f$&@ing error!!

Did nobody here see the footage of Buddy taking a dive after receiving the lightest of elbows to his back?

Even the commentators said there was nothing in it.

I feel like I’m going insane reading so many comments about how May “made a mistake”.

He played a blinder, and as far as I’m concerned made ZERO mistakes.

i think he means the long centering kick that he coughed up, which the Swans goaled from.

Actually I meant the ( incorrectly paid ) but provocative manhandling of Franklin that completely transformed the momentum of the game

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
