It we are not going to win the big 1, we might as well come last and get the 1st pick. Pre-Season first pick could be a great blackmail card , if we have the balls to use it properly. We got stitched up with Farmer, and were soft with White, which from memory we gave Freo pick 2 for, and picked up Shanahan with the PSD pick 1.

we wont come last. but if we keep this up a top 3 or 4 draft pick beckons. I would like someone with a normal kicking action, unlike Jones and Bate.

I'll take an accountable skilled ruckman thanks. I would like a clone of Dean Cox.

My second preference is a Tom Hawkins-type meat and vegetables bustling KPP forward.

can a team trade an uncontracted player if he'd prefer to go in the draft? if not, just offer him the money and ignore west coast, he can then just nominate for the draft. i think he mgiht try and get something for WC though, id be happy to trade a 1st and 2nd rounder for him...

A player has to agree to the trade for it to go ahead (Re: Ferguson for Sewell  ) ala Nick Stevens ending up at Carlton.

Well i have my eyes on Matt Kreuzer. I have watched him play. A very good tap ruckman. Doesent punch the ball hard to his teams end but has a good relationship with the midfielders and is able to tap to advantage. Very similar to Brendon Lade and of similar height. He can also play forward and has kicked a few goals. He cant play back but as said i rate this guy a lot. I think he will get picked before 2nd round so we need to snatch him and personally i prefer is we bottom out. Whats the point is trying to make a run for the finals when we aint going to make it and then have a chance at losing priority picks. Lets get set for 2009 and give neitz and white the best send off they could imagain.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
