This anonymous Twitter account which I think is run by a former AFL umpire rates every game from an umpiring perspective and also comments on controversial decisions.

This was his take on Saturday’s game.

Says it all. This account looks at every game very carefully

seriously, i can't remember the last time when someone, somewhere wasn't having bombs dropped on their head

p.s. seriously, you didn't really think the poster was seriously suggesting a royal commission, did you?

At first I thought he was talking about our forward line entry.

Don't disagree with comments, but surely the hardest sport in the world to umpire. So much interpretation.

So let's make it even harder by bringing in a 'send off' rule for Tom Stewart incidents and therefore adding yet another layer!

Seriously the media has no idea sometimes.

And 50% more economical with his comments than Joeboy.

To clarify, his Twitter profile states that he is an "accredited AFL ump disappointed at the standard at AFL level". That description, though, could mean different things to different people. For example, is he (or she?) a field umpire or a goal umpire? What does "accredited AFL ump" even mean? Nevertheless, his other posts highlight contentious decisions and explains why the umpire got it right or wrong. I find it both entertaining and informative. If you're on Twitter, I recommend following him (or her).

Joeboy, these are the sort of things which balance out. Even if Adelaide won I don't think we could say the umpires had a major impact on the result.

I assume you’re joking
