I think Casey only go 4 deep. White, Munro, Buntine and Grey. I think we had 8 players out on the weekend that's  5 players that really aren't up to VFL standard due to Buntine being out it makes a difference.

So who is Wal Wuol?

There’s an article in the Cranbourne Leader (VFL: Casey Demons sign nine new players for 2022 season) which reports that Wal, who is great mates with Mac Andrew, and began playing only three years ago has made great strides in that time. He’s never played senior football and hardly stepped foot in a gym but was runner-up in the South East Juniors Under 17 Premier B & F in 2019. 

According to Casey coach, Mark Corrigan: “He’s got speed, he’s tough, he’s a good height at 186cm. We’ve been trying him through the wing and as forward. He’s a really nice left-foot kick.”

Wuol is eligible under the 23rd player rule and Corrigan is hoping that he plays early.

I see this is a 18 game fixture over the 23 weeks of the AFL season again. Really disappointing that we have to have so many byes when there are more teams (21) than games (18). Surely the fixture could stretch to 21 games.
