Does anyone know how to link your membership card to an MFC account? My son and I are members, up to now we put the two barcodes in ticketed and got tickets at least in same section. Now with reserved seats available again, barcode doesn’t work in ticketed, my ticket is fine in MFC but his not visible as never had mail from club. Any suggestions or somewhere at ground to resolve?

Have you tried calling the club or membership line? I know people have had issues with ticketing in the past and have had trouble getting through.

Hopefully someone here can steer you in the right direction.

Dear Paul61

You have to download the MFC app onto your phone.

Then select More at the bottom of the screen.

Then select Mobile Membership (first option) which allows you to login to Ticketmaster which manages MFC memberships and seats.

Then you will find the 'ticket' to allow entry, which is just the virtual version of your plastic card membership card that you would normally scan at the gate.

The virtual ticket can be saved to your virtual phone wallet and will link to your allocated reserved seat.

It is much better than the system to date and you will be able to catch up with people you sit near and haven't seen since August 2019.

best wishes

bill

This happened to my brother and we had to call the club (1300 DEMONS) and give them an email address to put to the reserved seat.

Took them about 3 minutes on the phone to sort it out about 2 hours to appear in the app once we logged out and logged back in.

EDIT: Follow billyboys instructions above and if the tickets don't appear in the app, do my instructions
If you haven't created a demons account before, use the email you get correspondence from the club to, as that is most likely the account they will have on file for your membership

Can anybody answer this one from a friend?

How do you download the mobile ticket for someone with multiple memberships. The adult membership is shown but the kids ones aren’t?

Not sure if this helps Andy, when I log in it just shows my membership only, after I click on my name the rest of the memberships linked to my account show up. If your friend clicks the name and they don’t appear that might be another problem all together.

If i click on/select the primary person on the app, the other people attached to my ticket and phone number appear in a list below. The down side is,  I can't  find where I can  print them out to save time at the turnstile/entry into the ground. So I will have to fiddle with my phone to get multiple bar codes for the kids on my ticket. Seemingly, I also have to load Google Pay to get the barcodes on the phone. I'm not overly happy with the new process....

In order for all tickets to appear in the same app on the screen, they must have the same email ( and Log in) address.  And that email address must be the same as their Melbourne FC membership details.

Unfortunately you can change neither online, and have to contact the membership department.  It is quicker to email them, rather than waiting on the phone.

I spent an hour waiting  to speak to someone last week to find out about the email discrepency problem, but an email outlining the solution desired was responded to within a very short period of time.

If anyone gets multiple tickets on their own account you can just take a screenshot of one and shoot it across to your family members. You can also text any ticket that is in your wallet to someone else.

Anyone know why the barcode wouldn't be showing up - have logged in, the right seat is displayed, but I can't access the barcode. Any help much appreciated!

Tap on the game when you see it in the app. Once you tap on it it should bring up the ticket.
Then add to wallet.

Don’t click on view barcode or ticket details. It’s confusing but that won’t show you the ticket.

Doesn't work unfortunately - the ticket doesn't come up - only "Ticket details" but no bar code...

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
