Sydney Pennski 309 Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Haven’t heard much lately about what the leftover players are doing while the team’s playing. Is it all too hard with the compacted fixture? Quote

Egan’s standouts from Round 11 practice match So 12 Demons plus a Kangaroo joined forces to take on St Kilda plus 2 Kangaroos in a 12 v 12 match. Highlights - • Braydon Preuss in his first game back (explains why he wasn't really an option for Saturday's game) dominated around the hit-outs. • Mitch Brown scored five of his side’s nine goals. • The delivery inside 50 allowed Brown to do his best work. • Jayden Hunt was excellent – presented at the ball really well. • Joel Smith was probably the other standout down back in the wet conditions. • There's also an update on some of Melbourne’s other young prospects in 2020. 1 Quote
Diamond_Jim 12,775 Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 No mention of Baker or Dunkley. Are they in the hub? 1 1 Quote

PaulRB 6,435 Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 (edited) I was happy to hear that Hunt was delivering the ball well into the F50 (to Brown), as I've always imagined his spot to be high Forward Flank or wing if he can learn to use his pace an deliver to lead up forwards on the burst. Sounds like they are developing him to play that role, and he's coming along. Edited August 12, 2020 by PaulRB 5 Quote
Dannyz 3,101 Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Bedford has had quite the fall from grace after an excellent pre-season, round 1 start and a decent game. To my knowledge, he's not been named Emergency and hasn't genuinely come into the selection discussion despite some forward line injuries. 1 Quote
