Someone mentioned him in another thread and I checked out his highlights on youtube. Made a good impression with his skills, composure and just seems like a solid footballer. A bit difficult to see the running ability and pace from the video but I'll take spirit of norm smith at his word

Absolutely.  Absolutely.  Absolutely.

Runner. Pace. Skill.

Would not be disappointed if we used 23 or 28 on Mckenzie.

Has this kid not been picked up?

Unbelievable.  Kid must be feeling sick.

Twomey has him getting picked at pick 29 by MFC in phantom draft.

Like others we have rookie spots. However, sounding like something is NQR.

Won the 20m sprint at the combine.  2nd in goal kicking comp and his skills look good. Had big stats in TAC cup.

Memo to JT.  Pick him up in the rookie draft and sort out whatever other problem made everyone pass. Can’t be any worse than Dusty and he went pick 3.

He's a Kangaroo after being picked up in the rookie draft.

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
