GAME DAY - Round 3, 2017

Our bad kicking bloody hurt us, but Max going down was also just as influential in our loss.

8 of the last 9 goals, due to being 1 man down. A very important man.

Never going to win when so inaccurate should have been over at 3 quarter time

Exactly should've put them away before the last quarter.

No he has tried to actually create something.

Hannan Weideman Harmes have been useless tonight.

He missed 2 goals u should expect a player like that to kick and should kick

If McDonald was gonna give away 50, he should've actually hit Selwood harder.

And get rubbed out?

To learn much from this game is the job at hand.

Disappointing

And your going to single out Kent only?

[censored] poor.

I'm shattered. No words.

Shattering loss. Really thought we deserved to win that. Curse those damn set shots.

Not much to learn. Just kick better in front of goal. We were better than them in every facet except goalkicking.

Somehow appropriate that the last score of the game was a behind to us .....

very very disappointing game .... but there is some upside (I hope !!!)

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
