I judge people who do not watch this !

It is a fantastic show - read all the books and besides watching copious quantities of sport, it is the only non sport  program that i must religiously watch.

For the opening night of every season we have a game of thrones feast ( yes ..there is a GOT cookbook) and this season i made roast swan  - which was actually turkey but lets keep that our secret.....

Getting my hands on Season 5 the end of this week. I'm going back-2-back - I'll be feeling like that bloke who caught up before his date. Tired.

Well that was awesome.

Except that one part, RIP old friend.

As for Stannis not being dead (mentioned earlier), why would Brienne lie about killing him. Makes no sense. He's dead.

Geez I hope that high sparrow gets [censored] up, anyone that makes me prefer Cercei needs to die.

what a ripper of an episode.

I made our dogs sleep outside last night.

Really interested to find out what Varys is up to on his secret mission...

Is there a connection with Jon Snow & Daenerys? I think there is.

When do the white walkers come over the wall?

All quiet in Dorn...I miss the sand snakes

What happens when and if Tyrion comes up against his brother...who choses who?

What part does the Hound play now?

When & where does Arya connect?

Will Bron get his castle?

Lots of dots to connect........

I think the next series will sort out the iron throne and then we will get serious with the whites....

Ripper episode, still dislike her Sauce, even more so when she was in the dungeon, high born know nothing princess!

I think Jon is not going to be very happy with her either, went behind his back!  Little finger wants what is owed to him now.

Cant wait for the next.

Big rumours going around is that Sansa is preggers by Ramsey...ewww

If I was Jon I would be more than a little unhappy with Sansa - if he had known that Little Finger was coming surely his plan may have been different ? Obviously Sansa knew as she was on her gee gee right next to Little Finger.

Also Rickon  - you are a d!ck - have you not heard of zig zagging ? Also Ramsey was looping arrows up in the air at him for a significant distance - surely you could turn around and look at him firing at you and see where the arrow is going. An arrow from the distance he was shooting , looping, you could take evasive action by watching the single arrow coming at you.( couldn't you ?)

Spot on Nutters, in fact i said that exact thing to Mrs Kika while watching.  Funny thing is Jon avoids hundreds of them and Rickon cant avoid 1 lol

Sansa knew all right, and she may have cost he little brothers life.

I'll do a bit of big noting.

I was in Spain last year.

We went the "water gardens of Dorne" which is the Alcazar in Seville which was magnificent but even more interesting was our trek to Girona an hour and a bit outside Barcelona. A lot of the filming for GOT is done there and they were filming at the time we were there. A lot of the town was cyclone fenced with black fabric so you couldn't see through. The local residents were paid twice the value of any inconvenience to film - so if a TV aerial had to come down  - they would pay for aerial going down and going up again and then the same amount again for the approximate cost of doing so. They were also paid 200 euro a day to keep their windows shut. We had a lunch at a local cafe and enquired how much extra money the filming had brought in and he said not a cent. The actors were not allowed off the enclosed area for as much as coffee as they didnt want people to know in the upcoming season who was alive and who wasn't. I asked our guide if Jon Snow was alive or dead - she said dead so I am guessing she didn't know.

Well...a few of the questions have been answered.

Jon & Daenerys are very close...

No white walkers yet but winter isn't coming, it's here.

The sand snakes are back and good to see, so that's what Varys has been up to.

Tyrion may not have to worry about his brother.

Arya's back and has a few more on her list.

No castle for Bron yet, somethings else on his plate and the hound is still out there wondering around

Now we wait to see what happens next year.

Winter is here and it's going to be a long [censored] 9 months of waiting.

High Sparrow got his, tiny bit of collateral damage...

His nun sidekick might cop a bit of damage too...

Can someone please kill Littlefinger S07E01, it's going to be too uneasy with him creeping about.

Arya went full Cartman.

All I ask for now is The Hound v The Mountain.

No a bad ending after a pretty slow start to the season.

I HATE CERSEI, now your a warrior? Look at me I'm dressed all in black with my peroxide orange hair!

Another King bites the dust...pun intended!  Was it just me or did the people in the throne room not look very impressed that Cersei was back on the throne?

And can we please have a moments silence for Margaery and her twins, we will miss your incredible......eyes.

Lets hope this King of the North can last longer than the last!

Tyrion has the hots for Daenerys, maybe he will be the one to marry her? Lannister & Targaryen bringing peace to the world.

Next year is way to long to wait.

Ok, I'll see your big noting and raise you...

Firstly it should be understood that I have not seen any of GoT...not even a preview so I can't vouch for the veracity of this B.N..

Now, if you have seen the clip of my song that I posted a link to here for YouTube (song was Don't Blame Me), the guitarist in that clip Steve Ralphs is the advisor on correct use of long bows (he makes them) and has worked in that capacity on GoT since the beginning, or so I'm led to believe. Check out the credits and see if you can find him.

Here endeth my big note.

Not only is it big noting - it is fantastic big noting - it is a gig I would love to have. How good would that be .. "So, what do you do for a living ?"  - "I make long bows for GOT".

Hadn't seen an episode two months ago. Have now watched them all.

Absolutely superb stuff. Surely there has to be a Clegane Battle Royale at some stage. I'll back the Hound just for his delightful vocabulary.

I actually thought Battle of the Bastards (2nd last episode) was the finale and was pleasantly surprised on Monday at work to find out there was still one to go.

Did anyone notice that Varys seemed to travel between places very quickly?

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
