Talk about a lippy Petracca!

Lining up for goal and a 150kg Franky supporter yells out "out of bounds d**ckhead"

Trac kicks it and turns straight around to the crowd and yells  "what was that mate?"

Beautiful

Michie is being underrated by the callers. He has done a lot in the centre with in and under moves and quick disposal that they just don't see or call.

Brave. Or a little unwise.

Love it! About time this [censored] team had some grunt and arrogance.

Absolutely beautiful long and accurate kick on the run to the advantage of Weeds by Hunt. Led to Weeds last goal. Perfect setup.

He's the skinny one of the family

Well this is really just the thing this club needed after last week. Score update?

According to Casey Twitter, we're 20+ goals up.

  1. After giving one to Petracca, Smith gets one himself, its out to 128 points now, a dominant second half this from the boys. #PJVFL #StingEm

Weideman lines up again, and sneaks it in! Our 24th goal of the night, the lead is now 122 points. #PJVFL

Hows ANB going?

Nibbler is getting better as the game goes on, if that's even possible because he started off very well. His fitness is leaving all others behind.

Six to the Weed?

Shouldn't be to far off the firsts then? hopefully anyway

Percentage = 500+%

140 up. Fair to say Franga has a long season ahead.

Feel a bit bad for Frankston.. but stoked for Casey!

A twelve goal final quarter has capped off a big night for the Casey Scorpions. It's fair to say that this was a good start to the season (apart from the injuries).

144 point margin, with 3 players down... maybe we've got some depth coming through.. :)

I know Franga is shite but it's encouraging after the tripe the ones dished up.

Will post my run down a bit later on once home.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
