Unfortunately for some (me included) it requires Adobe Flash which is not supported on iPad.

Sorry DL, I didn't realize they were providing it illegally.

Aside: Last Saturday's game is replayed at 1:30pm today on Fox.

Off topic but if anyone is thinking about getting Foxtel (Living interstate and being able to watch every Dee's game live is great) make sure you haggle on price. I managed to get them down to half of the advertised price, likewise for existing customers. Tell them you're thinking about leaving and they will come down considerably in cost.

Are the premium replays the same quality as the smart replays on the AFL site? Cause the smart replays even at high quality are not great

Nice one. I had the same package and they also dropped it to $90. As we don't have kids I got them to take off the kids channel pack and that dropped it a little more. Also got a second box thrown in, had to pay for install but overall was about a 50% savings.

I would say it is quite a bit better in terms of quality and you can actually watch it full screen

Edit: I just compared them, they are very similar

I hate the Smart replay, can't stand the box/border. If feels like watching the game through a hole in a cardboard box. As for how to illegally obtain copyrighted content, i couldn't possibly say, suffice to say i don't watch the smart replay

Don't forget to check YouTube. There's always a couple channels that seem to upload the games.

I just bought the $65 digital add on membership - I know that is only good for your phone and tablets but I get to watch the replay on my suitably sized computer screen when I wish - hell, I watched the last quarter of the Geelong game last year a couple of days ago...

Used to use the smart replay but prefer the ease. Add the $65 goes to the club.

I wasn't aware of that option. That's a good idea. Are you sure it goes to the club?

Well, I bought it from the club website, so at least some of it will...

  • NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round

Finally the 2026 AFL Premiership Season is upon us. While Melbourne sits out Opening Round, there is still plenty of footy to enjoy with five non-MFC clashes to kick off the new season. It all begins on Thursday night with a blockbuster at the SCG as Sydney hosts Carlton in what should be a strong early test for both sides. On Friday night, Gold Coast gets its chance to open the season in front of a home crowd when the Suns and Christian Petracca take on Geelong at People First Stadium. Saturday features a double-header, starting in the afternoon with Greater Western Sydney and Clayton Oliver meeting the Hawks at Engie Stadium. That is followed on Saturday night by Brisbane Lions hosting the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba, with the Lions embarking on their campaign to win the Threepeat. Opening Round wraps up on Sunday night at the MCG, where St Kilda takes on Collingwood in the only game in town in the first week of the season. There is no shortage of storylines across the round, so discuss all the action from the non-MFC games of Opening Round.
