I have looked and looked and I can't quite see the cherries.

I am not worried about the cherries. I have been busy on Google trying to source this model of "picker"!

Look more like melons to me...

Yes, no doubt about the melons but what about the cherries on top?

Why do I suddenly feel like I am back in school?

As did I!

Any luck?

Is daisy cutter a pseudonym for cherry picker?

I own a parrot bebop drone (which is at the low end of the drone spectrum), my thoughts would be:

a) the battery life of commercially available drones simply isn't long enough for the stated purpose, definitely not long enough to keep it in the air for a quarter. The life on my drone is approx 12-15min depending on weather conditions. you don't find too many that can stay in the air for more than 20min.

b) depending on the complexity of the drone you may require 2 people to operate it - 1 person to control its movement and one to control the camera, which is the way movie studios use them.

c) if it gets hit by a ball 30m off the ground (entirely possible in afl) you can kiss goodbye to your drone.

d) can't fly it in wet weather

There are other reasons around privacy, potential for personal damage etc. But I'd say the main reason would be the battery life.

I know some local clubs are starting to use them to film games and training drills .

Ok i cannot take it anymore, it isn't a cherry picker, it's a scissor lift, and do not say it's the same thing!

Sorry for the outburst!

Sure it wasn't a knuckle boom?

Or a manbox?

Telehandler with a man basket?

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
