If the Saints pass on Petracca & grab McCartin, than Petracca will find his way the GWS.

take it with whatever you need. maybe a good lye down

Don't you dare.

Brayshaw and Lever you say?

I think not.

Was never a realistic chance. Time to find a new source of information.

Opinions are like a*holes. everyone has one

I didn't say that.

Going to be cryptic or who do you THINK we will take?

nope, wait N see. the ball is in the saints basket.

On a side note, the Saints board on BF is absolute gold. As one poster put it "Petracca has gone from alpha dog superstar to ego maniac injury bust in the space of 48 hours".

:pj:

Yeah, ok then.

Well that's obvious. We'll still surely take whichever of McCartin/Petracca they don't.

maybe, don't be so sure.

...Meltdown

Its a big call deeluded. Personally I wouldn't be THAT upset. Its just so rare these days that the players ranked top 3 end up being that in the reality of future seasons. Who would have picked Martin over Scully or Trengove? Can you at least say if they're thinking a tall and a mid or 2 mids?

Who would have picked Martin over Scully or Trengove? I think there are a few of us here on Demonland.

I wanted Trenners at One... unsure of the others but had an eye for Gary Rohan's speed.

I didn't really believe in scully's mania (he played manic) but bowed to the masses. My gut feel was right IMO.

lets sit back & watch the saints f... it up.

Honestly, what are you talking about?!

I didn't say that.

Why am I suddenly thinking of Jeremy Cameron?

I wasn't addicted to this site back then lol but, in the mainstream media at least, Martin seemed a clear 3rd.

So, for the game of it, if you take out Lever and Petracca...who do u think?

Yes.

So easy.

So very easy.

The Saints are losing their minds...

And we are reaping all the benefits...

Knowing our luck we will probably pass on petracca.

Its how we roll.

DL at the time I didn't think you could go past Scully as the dedicated, professional accumulating midfielder. But I did think Trengove was more of the same and thought Martin worth a punt because he reportedly had some mongrel and speed. Oh well as we know that didn't happen and Martin is high maintenance!

Twitter certainly has McCartin as the fave to go at one.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
