GAME DAY - ROUND THREE

How is Evans getting a game? He just jogs around.

Preparing us for a "No Frawley" backline next year i would think WYL

Maybe Rusty. But the guy needs a change of scenery. Our backline has killed his spirit.

It's understandable.

New female goal umpire looks a good sort.

Where's Dean Kent?

Frawley had nothing open when looking inside 50. Last week he would have gone backwards, sideways. This week he went inside, which created a stoppage and that created Evans' shot.

Wind seems to have wrecked Fitzpatrick's and Evans' shots at goal. They're saying we have the wind though.

His disposal and decision making is deplorable too.

Another turnover, this time to Evans. Sounds like he's working hard, but skills letting him down.

Viney, Grimes and Kent haven't touched it (just one tackle between them overall).

Yep. I would have pulled the trigger on that move early last season. He's been pummelled from pillar to post. A change up just might work...for everyone

what's the bet we have a 5 goal breeze right now.

Update sydnee?

Building the wall outside 50 which is good to see

Must score here

Oh of course, umpires bail them out lol....forgot about their extra man

It was 0-5 inside 50s, it's now 5-7. But we've only two behinds to show for it.

Sounds like the umpiring is awful today.

Jack Grimes can't [censored] handball.

What is wrong with him! No composure

This is an extremely young team we're playing. Persistance and hard nose never say die footy will win this, subject to umpiring influence

Good to see the umpiring is at it's usually high standard...

Two crap teams get 3 crap umpires every week

he is not big enough. Never has been. Gets pushed off balance too easily and has to hurry his possessions.

Viney getting involved... nice

11 frees in 21 mins.

So much for the letting the game flow this year.....

Viney being involved takes a heap of pressure of Cross, Jones and Vince...gives us another rotation to grind em down through the middle. The middle contest will determine this IMO

Jesus, Terlich is still a turn over machine.

any live streams pls PM me!

Demons 56% efficiency so far.... GWS 86% ughh

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
