He is a HF and the quicker we get this into our heads the better

I think he was recruited to be a mid and he will play his best footy as a mid.

I'd love to know the effect of being 21 +/- and captaining one of the worst teams ever would have on Jack, surely it would weigh him down. I am sure he has fantastic leadership skills but it would be great to see him relieved of this and just go back to concentrating on playing footy.

He may have groin issues like most think but I think his problem may be between his ears at the moment and just isn't confident.

He got better at the end of the year, pretty sure he got over 20 touches in each of the last 3 or 4 and I am sure he will be a great player in years to come.

He was indeed recruited as a mid but has probably played his best footy in or around both the HF and HB flanks. ( yes I know...mids can play there too ) but he hasnt set world on fire with us as a mid. He was tearing it up in the SANFL as one.

Unfortunately if you take the rosey glasses off he has been somewhat underwhelming. Must be terribly frustrating for him and he mentioned that in a conversation. He has high standards and really has his heart in the right place. he tries 100% within his ability to do so and its that thresh-hold thats the problem . Hes unable to play to his utmost and he knows it. We know it too.

its like he's playing with lead boots on.

You wouldnt want to be doing that for too long at this level
