When did the Herald Sun become a sponsor?

Just got an email about a members deal with the Herald Sun. Said they are a sponsor. Since when I don't recall reading about it.

Anyone told Robbo this because he can't keep making stories up about us.

was about the time the rage stopped being a sponsor

about 2 months ago i think

this offer was also sent out to members about a month ago i think

for those already getting the hun at a higher price you don't have to cancel then reapply

when you sign up it asks about your current subscription and cancels it such that you don't miss a day

HTH

Who would want to read the Hun daily? FMD!!!

my wife

but i think more for the births and marriages, crosswords and other puzzles

me? just for the pictures (occasionally they have one of an alpaca) and comic strips

was that last bit of prose a request or a desire?

Absolutely. The Aplaca Husbandry column just isn't what it was.

Merely sad acceptance of the futility of my life as a melbourne supporter.

Absolutely. The Aplaca Husbandry column just isn't what it was.

"Aplaca" husbandry has never been what is was. Whatever that is.

Does Stock and Land have a sports section?

Romsey.... where men are men, and alpacas are nervous.

Spelling checkers going downhill fast as well.

A little bit of vomit rose up to the back of my mouth BBO. Thanks in advance for the nightmares.

i do every day if you dont mind , always start at the back , and easy to read on the dunny , got a problem with that , ? dial 1800 who gives a f#$k , i rest my case

I agree, the Hun is an ideal paper to read "on the dunny". It would certainly act as a purgative and , in difficult economic times, could assist in subsequent tidying up operations.

agree, it would be an upgrade on the grass clippings you currently use

whats wrong with grass clippings ?

in days of old

and knights were bold

and paper wasnt invented

they slid there rrrrrrrrs

upon the grass

and had to be contented

whats wrong with grass clippings ?

well if i haven't got the Hun and I haven't got any alpaca clippings then i guess grass clippings will have to do, just not on my favourites list. YMMV

mmmm sword grass , dont like the sound of that , ouch !

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
