Crawf, it is whatever you want to make of it.

If I printed it out I could make it into a paper plane I suppose. Toilet paper? Mmmm. That will be my last string of letters on this thread.

Mate - I was born in a premiership year on Queens Birthday holiday at 4pm just 1km from the MCG as the siren sounded on another Demon victory, this time over Richmond. By the time I was 9 years old we'd never missed the finals and won 6 flags. The one laughing in those first 2 frames was me and no-one can take that away.

Yep ....most of thats my footy life so far alright.

Melbourne 'til I die,

I'm Melbourne 'til I die

I know I am, I'm sure I am,

I'm Melbourne 'til I die.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
