Yeah it is, I think I got it this time. But I cant post it.

Me too ..... Time to change the bloody rules. After all, the AFL is always doing it (lol).

Edit: added (lol) which is what CC should have done in the Vault.

Lets be honest here...

If we are all sweating on the next clue so we can post our next guess, any chance we might need to get outside more often?

Just a hunch.

Tribal Elder but not as old as you think he is, only Elder to ever play AFL

Posted

I thought he was, why do I think that if he is not please enlighten me...

Posted

It is an often quoted misrepresentation and common in the press

He is an initiated member of his tribe and has been a leader of some local community youth projects

People don't become elders in their early 20's

Posted

for the 1000th time he is not an elder of his people

Quite so, in the book 'Dog Ear Cafe' a story about petrol sniffing in Central Australia, Liam is described as a leader, role model and mentor to his people all which culminated in him being awarded Young Territorian of the Year in 2010.

How things have changed for Liam in such a short time -a real shame.

Damn. I would have put my house on Stephen Newport. If you think about it (in a cryptic sense) he fitted the first two clues perfectly:

#1 - Port us usually regarded as an aged drink (new port not as old as it would first appear);

#2 - Port Adelaide the only port in the AFL.

#3 would have thrown me big time.

This quiz is certainly helping brush up my knowledge of the Dees down the ages. Well done to both quiz masters!
