Will be interested to watch the hand shaking post match..

Interesting set of Adelaide emergencies.

While we clearly won, 15 goals flattered us. Crows had one interchange left before half time.

I miss Aussie

I think we are a sneaky chance if we can find someone to stand up and kick some goals and play a consistant 4 qtrs..... But as i've said in other posts I am not going to hold my breath and be let down again this season haha

We've played some good footy and some pretty poor footy lately it will be an interesting match in more ways then 1

I will also be interested in the off feild hand shaking - Will McLardy pay Db a visit/???? haha

I'm going to the club's Foundation Hero's function tonight and this talk of Aussie has jolted my memory of last year's event when I was delighted to be the happy highest bidder for Aussie's autographed number 33 jumper.

I think it was the following weekend that Aussie made his return after a long period out whilst grieving for his late father Matthew and mentor Maurice Rioli. History says that Aussie damaged an ankle playing for Casey that weekend and was delisted at the end of the year.

I sponsor Max Gawn and the day after I sent off the sponsorship payment Maxie did his ACL.

Tonight, I'm not buying a thing but next year I'm going to call GWS and offer to sponsor Tom Scully.

Very good WJ

Love it

This game seems like a lifetime ago!

Wonder who will have the more useful inside info in the coaches box? Although Bailey knows the boys well and so will Craig.

Would make for an interesting sub plot if the result wasnt destined to be 60+ points

Thinking about it now I will be very interested in the final result, just to see how competitive we are becoming.

We haven't been flogged for a while (sydney off the top of my head was the last time) this game will either give the Neeld haters more bait or support the positive argument that we are getting better.. It could be an interesting game after all!!

Anything is still possible

Very true old dee......

Lucky for us the finals are upon us and this one might slip under the radar?? I hope that is what the AFL are thinking hahaha

But in all seriousness if they sanction us - surely they have to look at Carlton, Hawks, Pies, Dogs, Saints and anyone else who has received a priority pick? This is Watergate esc.... surely no one single entity is to blame and the AFL CEO will have to fall on his sword??

If the worst should happen UH I expect the MFC to attack everyone and ever thing in sight.

Go for every throat in view.

At that point what would we have to lose.

If we are going down lets take the ship with us.

Still it probably will not happen so lets cross that bridge when we get to it.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
