just to humour you.....how can blease sign with gws. they are only allowed to signup 1 ooc player per club

their only option would be to trade or take their chances with the ND

Any need for the belittling beginning?

I wasn't aware of the AFL's micro rules.

I would like to see Blease get a consistent run at it but it seems he is out of favour with the coaches and they feel the best way to get the best from him is to drop him until he gets the message, whatever it is.

Brisbane have a pretty quick side now and he would be a handy player for us in this game, i hope we don't regret leaving him out.

It wouldnt surprise me if Blease ends up at GWS!

My gut feel!

He didnt play in the Casey game so he's flown up, and I reckon like last week will be a late in for someone, just adds so much pace and has the versatility of a wing/hbf which I like. He would be of more benefit than Ro Bail imo

Good evening guys and gals.

I am up in Brisbane

From a very good source

Jamar has a calf injury and 95% chance Spencer will play against the Lions.

Remember you heard it here first

Did I read supporters questioning Sellar's name in the forward-line ? Where they're named to play hasn't been relevant since the 1980's.

As for Blease ? He's talented, but underwhelming. Would he be a fixture in a top 4 side once he's developed ? I doubt it.

Wouldn't surprise me, there would be no reason to take Spencer up with Martin already going otherwise.

i really dont understand what rohan bail adds to this side.

Yet you start a thread about how good Tom Swift is?

FMD.

There's always a few dunderheads here that do that. Really grinds my gears at times.

Good luck to the Specil, hope he can play a good game and make Jamar nervous. Although, he should be nervous due to his underwhelming form at present.

Has Blease signed with GWS?

Perhaps he's told Neeld so that he avoids the same treatment his mate got?

That sort of thought has also been running through my mind. We haven't heard much on resignings other than Jamar whilst other clubs seem to be locking them away?

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
