MELBOURNE being chanted

bit embarrassing for second round of NAB cup !!!

I know, but it's great considering on the radio since it sounds like all Filth there.

Frawley hasn't done too much right tonight. Having said that, he's got pretty big heights to live up to. Should have touched that on the line.

Well regardless of the result, and believe you me i hope they win, what i am more/mostly happy with is the WAY they are playing. We have been crying out for this fierce attack on the ball and the man for years....

Guessed he's shown Neeld he can play so it's time for the other kids to have a crack. Fair enough I reckon.

Are you insane Watt cannot get near the ball he looks and acts lazy

sub him off why sub Howe he took marks Watts needs an attitude reajustmnent

We have wasted another no 1 pick in my opinion

About 58 points ahead of where I expected us to be, so I am not going to dare complain.

Having said that, please give me bragging rights tonight Melbourne. For once let me have celebratory post footy drinks instead of misery drinks.

Go Dees!

Well..........mebbe. Certainly he hasn't really shown much urgency.

just listening on sen but james magner sounds bloody good !! come on boys lets get the win now!!

What happened now?

The ball ended up in his hands forward of centre, he had options everywhere and just didn't know what to do, he tried to play on and was comicly run down from behind.

Look, he's a talent, but...

Etihad hoodoo put to bed!! Great win against a reasonably strong Pies team.

Will take that considering no one gave us a chance.......(including me)

Pressure, Pressure, Pressure.........I Love It.

He may make comical mistakes, but he's not just a talent, he's an integral part of our side, and his pros outweigh his cons.

It has most certainly not been put to bed. This is a NAB Cup game. Say what you will about their side on paper, in their minds it's inconsequential.

That 'hoodoo' will be put to bed if and when we take 4 premiership points from a game there.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
