Should be interesting tonight, wonder what Garry has to say

Is it possible to watch it in NSW?????

Garry is deeply hurt and upset. Mainly because of Jim Stynes and what he's going through at the moment both because of his illness and the state of the MFC.

You can see it.

Said he feels guilty as well which is understandable.

He will do something but won't coach

Thomas just said that Lyon wouldn't be a good coach and would advise against it.

Wife:

Is this the attack Lyon credibility special????

Thomas is right though...You have got to WANT to coach...Garry doesn't want to do it, and at least he is honest.

Garry will help out Jim in any way he can, that i do believe.

I have never seen Gary so upset.

Upset with fire in his belly...i liked it. Garry was ready for tonight.

Thomas's comments werent far from the money at all. Often people just get it into their heads to dismiss this bloke ro that without listening. Im not at all sold on the Pagaon notion ..but Pagans and Demons.....lol

I think what Grant was onto is dead right. You need a straight shooter to grab the reins on the Football side of things and drag it screaming if necessary into a different way of thinking and acting.

I think we dont have enough blue collar mongrel....too much white collar niceties at times.

That is exactly what we need....A young John Kennedy "This is how it is going to be done"

WE do not have any premiership people at our club, so WE need to suck it in & learn.

Thomas regarding Eade is exactly my line of thinking.

good to see that everything we members are feeling is being shown by Garry.

sounds like he will go in their as smack some head together and wake up the playing group.

also sounds like he really wants Mick there next year

As Gary would say ... "lets strip the bull$hit here."

Ok you want the players to play passionate football for the jumper ... great ... treat them with respect and they will treat you with respect (but where have you heard that before B) ) Passion you cant switch on & off when it suits you.

This position is repairable but we all need to give a bit ... its not all one way. As supporters we need to find ways to help our players reach peak performance & not start games behind the 8 ball. Players are not pieces of meat you can't get rid of when it suits you either or a "better" offer many come along.

We have a great opportunity to fix all our problems ... lets not miss it because some have a conservative nature.

Go Dees.

Thomas regarding Eade is exactly my line of thinking.

He didnt mince words.. didnt have to...he was right.

Agree on that. We absolutely need a coach that dominates the players in terms of respect, uncompromising attitude and premiership experience.

Dean Laidley and Todd Viney that's pretty blue collar.

If players don't want to play for them they just don't want to play

Step one guys....We need a big crowd at this weeks game, being very vocal.

Hang on I think I have missed something here. Can you explain what you mean by "lets not miss it because some have a conservative nature"

  • REPORT: Brisbane

“Max Gawn has been the heart and soul of the Dees for years now, but this recent recovery from a terrible start has been driven by him. He was everywhere again, and with the game in the balance, he took several key marks to keep the ball in the Dees forward half.” - The Monday Knee Jerk Reaction: Round Ten Of course, it wasn’t the efforts of one man that caused this monumental upset, but rather the work of the coach and his assistants and the other 22 players who took the ground, notably the likes of Jake Melksham, Christian Petracca, Clayton Oliver and Kozzie Pickett but Max has been magnificent in taking ownership of his team and its welfare under the fire of a calamitous 0-5 start to the season. On Sunday, he provided the leadership that was needed to face up to the reigning premier and top of the ladder Brisbane Lions on their home turf and to prevail after a slow start, during which the hosts led by as much as 24 points in the second quarter. Titus O’Reily is normally comedic in his descriptions of the football but this time, he was being deadly serious. The Demons have come from a long way back and, although they still sit in the bottom third of the AFL pack, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel as they look to drive home the momentum inspired in the past four or five weeks by Max the Magnificent who was under such great pressure in those dark, early days of the season.

  • CASEY: Southport

The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.

  • PREGAME: Sydney

Just a game and percentage outside the Top 8, the Demons return to Melbourne to face the Sydney Swans at the MCG, with a golden opportunity to build on the momentum from toppling the reigning premiers on their own turf. Who comes in, and who makes way?
