I did not see it but heard similiar.

Can you expand Mr. Leg Sir?

Not quite true --- we wore the red and blue in the win against Richmond. However, the other three have all come in the white abomination ...

FWIW I thought it was good step to wear the red and blue against the dogs, rather than the white that we sometimes have in the past. However, if I had known the white would make us win ... :)

I think you know I am being very light heart on this subject.

I don't want to play in anything but the traditional Red and Blue ( ie Red not Maroon, Pink or Orange )

I guess I am getting worn down but I actually don't mind the current away jumper.

All in good fun, OD. I will say that the current design is growing on me, and there a lot of worse ones out there. However, the predominant white does tend to stick in my (magpie-hating) craw ... :)

He said Chip had one very good skill, which is judging the flight of the ball in the air and getting to the right spot to mark or spoil. However, he said he was an awful decision-maker and an awful kick of the footy, with plenty of evidence from Sunday's game on offer. I thought he was balanced, in that he said the elite-level skill that Chip has is worth something, but probably not the figures being talked about in the media, and that anyone wanting him would need to "be aware" of his limitations.

Not sure why but I am finding it hard to attached comments to the original at present.

However R and B I think his comments sound fairly accurate.

I am all for keeping JF but not at any price.

I have confidence in this management team to make the right decision.

I would prefer he stays but we now live in the brave new world of free agency so it is more than likely he will go.

If he does I bear him no ill will he has IMO given his best to the MFC during a very poor period in our history.

dont care either way.

but he has been a fat lazy turd who only runs when he feels like it{over last 6 years]

I am amazed at the credit this bloke gets, col has finally gone and i see JF as the end of the lazy we get paid and are AFL players type at our club.

While on Liam Jones, Chip did well, keeping him kickless. However he was also on Bontempelli when he kicked the 2 matchwinners. In the first he let him run free. In the second he let a first year player strip him of the ball twice, then went to ground and stayed there while the winning goal was kicked. It was nothing less than a pathetic effort from an experienced big bodied defender.

He unfortunately turns the ball over often. He is a poor user of the ball and finds it hard to give off quick accurate passes.

Chip now gives off the appearance that he is playing out time with us and actually couldn't give a stuff about the result. I have seen him jog after an opponent countless times this year.

who are you and what are you talking about?

i'm looking forward to the day when 1964 seems like yesterday

anything to escape the last half century DF

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?
