You got it in one Redleg

Very much a Macchiato man, short or long.

Sometimes a double shot Cappucino

Posted (edited)

how can you have a cappuccino without milk

You are correct DC

However two shots of coffee at least gives it a coffee taste.

Usually have when I am a little brittle

like after celebrating a Dees win.

Umm Wondered why I had not had many lately

Heard a vicious rumour the other day that Whispering Jack is going to close down this thread after the GWS game next week. Talk about stifling Democracy and Freedom of Speech. This thread has been one of the most widely viewed ( over 70000 so far ) and heavily contributed to ( over 2000 posts so far ) threads in the history of Demonland. I suggest we threaten to dump a truck load of banana skins on his driveway if he goes ahead with his threat. We will not be censored.

Surely you jest Redleg we have 10 threads a day opened on Demonland 90% of which are just varations on existing threads.

It would be much better to amalgamate half of these.

Please Mr. WJ leave alone the only thread on Demonland that provides a small amount of light relief in a very black year.

In any case Redleg we could just have Mk2

I suggest BPW.

What say you all

Desperately trying to upload Baldrick clip from WW1 but too technologicly retarded.

Surely, there has to be some closure from this whole T$ thing at some stage?

What better time than after the GW$ game when we get the chance to see him in the flesh in that ghastly orange garb?

You have missed the point, this is exactly the opposite. This is not a thread about discussion of T$ but rather anything but. Therefore there is no need to close it down. At the very worst we could change the name to delete his initials, but to close down the thread is unnecessary.

We can just change the name to the "no B$" thread.

Funny, I just read four other threads where he is the main talking point and the one thread you want to close down is the highest viewed one on Demonland ever, with the most replies and he isn't even mentioned. Oh well, it is your site.

Hi Biffen not sure what you are asking me.

This started by me saving I hate warm milk with a slight taste of coffee.

eg. Coffee latta.

That does not mean i don't have smaller amounts of milk in my coffee.

does that cover it?

PS loved " Baldrick" oh for some television like that now instead of all that other crap we get served.

It I see another bloody talent show I will return my TV.

Well not really but I hope you get the drift.

Spot on Redleg.

I do not understand your logic WJ.

As Redleg says this the only thread that bans talk of that person, it was founded for that reason.

Please let it continue.

Matt Rendell on AFL site saying SA ruckman Brodie Grundy is a ready made AFL player. Wonder if we would consider drafting a ruckman with an early pick say our 3rd pick and clearing say a Spencer and maybe Petterd to GC to get a mid like Caddy and a promise not to name JV. We would still have 2 early picks to use on mids. That would give us 4 new mids and we could use a later pick to get a small forward.

Draft hope 'a match-winner'

The problem is that due to the misfortunes over at 'ology we've inherited some more sophisticated mature posters here and this thread is simply a downright embarrassment.

Perhaps it should just be called "The BS Thread"?

He still has a point - perhaps we could start a poll to decide?

what point does he have?

That it is embarassing

Absolutely one persons opinion.

However I get the feeling you agree

Is that the case?

Every club knows full well that, come what may, we will be picking Jack Viney. That's the problem with the system. Whoever finishes below us knows there's no risk in nominating him.

If we improve in the second half - which I think we should do - then I have a feeling we could finish 15th which means we will have to use that pick on Jack.

Not if we can do a couple of deals.

Still think 16th spot is more likely. We are now 4 wins and percentage behind Roos and either Dogs or Port. Another win to Lions and loser of Dogs and Port will mean we will need to win 5 more to go up a spot. Don't think that will happen.

Old dee,

I just think we need to go beyond the banana fritters and the like.

This thread started as a distraction at a time when everyone was going bananas at the thought of Voldemort jumping ship. Once we've played GWS and hopefully given them a shellacking, what purpose is it going to serve?

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
