Even after winning the flag in 2021 I still think October and November is best time of the football year.

My energy provider made an administrative error months ago (apparently) and then yesterday out of the blue I sudden lost all power to my home, and wasn't going to be able to get it back until I had set up a completely new service.

At last I know what it felt like.

It is only 11 months away Mr. leg. Hang loose...

...but don't topple over as a result @old dee. We're prone enough as it is!

And while I fleetingly have the baton, @Little Goffy, I'm 🤔 about your 🤔. Does Baha Men being the ones 'Who Let the Dogs Out' help? Or was it my cryptic(!) 'DA' reference?

I have waited for over 12 months for another flag. I need results, enough is enough.

Two years and two flags! Two perfect years.

Come on 2023!

Also, it could be another 56 years to go before we win again, like last time. DON'T up set the footy GODS or the Melbourne curse. After all it now been 58 years since we won a flag at the MCG. I not sure Norm Smith has forgive us yet.

That's a bit negative DF. I am nothing but positivity and light. Well for the next 15 minutes anyway. I think we should find a new home ground, we perform poorly at the G!!!!!!!!

When the two local AFL Clubs created super WAFL Teams (Host Clubs) that weakened West Perth, I become a Melbourne supporter. Plus l could not support any Club called Fremantle.

Definitely need to get rid of the bats;look what happened at the Junction Oval when we shared with the cricketers and their assortment of  sports equipment

Now I know this isn’t football but at this time of the year who cares about footy. For the big one on Tuesday I am giving you the early nod.

Lunar Flare ridden by M Dee. Light weight is a talented horse and with that jockey name how could it loose.

Remember you heard it here first.

Ya gotta love Melbourne. I saw this at Flinders Street Station yesterday…

Nothing out of the ordinary here

Note that nobody bats an eyelid. 😂

Also, on the train that afternoon…

God knows what the rest of this decade of the 21st century has in store for us all. I might just become a recluse. Still I wore platform shoes, flares and body shirts of dubious colours in the 70's so who am I to talk.

  • PREGAME: Essendon

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?
