Uncle as you know I am waiting for your paperwork. You know some receipts to verify your excessive expenses in China for a start!  Any receipts for expenses We incurred from your Malaysian venture would be a bonus as we never knew you were going there!!!

EErrrrr yes of course Earl. You know my record keeping is meticulous , however, it was the floods ...... yes that's it .. the floods.

Apparently my grip on reality (no vulgar quips please) has finally totally gone.

Someone was trying to explain to me that people are actually wandering our fair city trying to capture imaginary creatures with their phones.

Tell me it isn't so.

Yes- it's a computer based exercise game- and you can play it in the car.Which cuts out the need for exercise.

And people accuse me of having a bizarre lifestyle!!!!

I wonder if any Demonlanders do this thing? ( Would even Moonie be silly enough?)

Maybe Stuie has a Bible based version where one hunts down the beast that wears 666

I would appreciate further information on this matter.

Not me Bitters. I'm too busy celebrating the Greens victory in my fair electorate by taking selfies with anyone I can find out and about on the streets. And, of course, hugging 100 year old lemon scented gums before they are felled ruthlessly by the bitumen spewing authorities. Prodee would've been impressed by the size of the chainsaws - a 24" bar is a sight to behold.

Must go. My soy chai latte just arrived.

Never. Only suburban bogans use those disgusting flavours to spoil their morning beverage. Them and the rednecks from satellite towns above Melbourne.

BB don't you live bayside? If it goes in the drain it is coming your way! Better off being processed and pre-treated by Moons prior to entering the sewer system to be fully treated at Werribee!

Bub clearly you haven't experienced a good inner city soy chai latte served by a Ned Kelly doppelgänger wearing a beret. Send me your addy and I'll have a large one Deliveroo'd quicker than you can say "ohmmmm".

In the same vein that I would have beer as beer and not dishwater 'light' ...in the manner  I should preserve cheese to be non - Coon , it is that when I partake of  Chai Latte it's made properly and not reinvented by some numbskull masquerading as intelligence draped in Hessian and beard !!

What you imbibe is yours to decide. I however have standards.

At the risk of offending my former benefactor Earl Hood - hipsters fall into any undesirable category you can imagine dc.

BTW - I guess hipsters are shot on site in Borewood?

There IS beer...that is most palatable. Crafted even. Some need to get heads out of their respective lavatories.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
