I've often wondered if there's anything you could write on a web forum that's so obviously sarcastic that nobody - not one single person - would be dumb enough to take it literally.

    Interesting to note that he said Gotchy had been implementing Melbournes game plan at Casey, I though we didn't have a game plan!

    I'd say Gysberts has shown more than enough to be in the starting side every week. He's already close to being our best clearence winner.

    I think we're only Scully (yes I see the irony here) and McKenzie away from our best 22, and Gysberts is not in my thoughts of players who could make way for them.

His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
