not a bad crowd.....

i did hear a sydney fan behind me say that even though we have less fans then collingwood and the other strong membership sides we are close to the loudest

hope its true

I've seen quite a few people saying the same thing. When Green kicked that toe poke goal, the MCC Members went crazy.

I think e25 is close to the mark the whole round was less than expected.

GP had an effect, my daughter and son in law went along with two of my friends.

There has been a lot on in the last 6 weeks and the $ only goes so far.

I went to the GP on saturday Cans were $6.50, you run out of money long before you get drunk

even at my tender age!

I think our attendance was as good as anyone all things considered.

Careful, it's not healthy to agree with me too much.

$6.50 for a beer?

Mind you, I ran a bar at the Avalon Airshow back around 2000 or 2001 and the cans were selling for $6 a pop back then, woodstocks were $9!

Daylight robbery, yet the lines were immense.

For who e25? then again mine is probably in more danger!

As for the long lines just shows how many [censored] pots there are in Aus.

From Cam Schwab on Twitter:

"By the way, how loud was the crowd! All the players were talking about it. Did us proud Demon supporters."

but couldn't believe sk-geelong only getting 40k.

I couldn't believe it myself , the stands look empty when the player ran onto the ground .

Still , with the Aints boring as Bat5hit game plan , only the diehards would want to watch .

Curious to know if next weeks game being Sunday twilight, will that impact on people going to the game?

I for one was looking forward to going, but am now only 50-50, because of this fixture. (I get up at 3 a.m on the Monday.)

I for one ain't going because of the time if it were 1 or 2pm I would, but being 2 hours from the city makes it too late getting home especially if I want to take the kids! Pretty sure it's live on fox sports also!

I won't be going for the same reasons .

Increased distance tho' .... 3.5 hrs .

Late Sunday games are impossible .

I'm glad it's not our home game because Sunday twilight games are dead zones, especially for families with young children. It's an awkward time.

However we played Hawthorn at the same time slot last years, when both teams were vying for the 8 and the crowd was pretty decent, despite it being damp and cold.

Of course nothing will stop me from going... I've waited far too long to not feel guilty about giving Bruce sh*t B)

We got over 30,000 so we made some sort of profit. I was sitting second level and I have never ever heard the crowd so electric for Melbourne in many many years.

I had shivers even before we hit the front.

I think it seemed louder in those memorable Freo and Bris games.

That said, in the last quarter the crowd came alive.

I sound like a chain smoker today.

Good excuse not to talk to my annoying colleagues

Excellent!!! if Jamar had kicked that goal in the last Q i would have Exploded...The MCC was going feral!

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
