Membership Seating.

Hey guys, friends and I were just going through the draw and we were wondering with regards to the 17 game membership, what seats do you get at Etihad? Do you have to sit up on the top tier? Can you sit on the ground level or upgrade to sit on the second?

I have no idea what the deal is for our home game at Etihad this year, but for away games at Etihad you have to sit up on the third level, even with a 17 game membership.

Alternatively you can pay around $40 and upgrade your ticket.

Btw, NAB Cup games are different. I'm pretty sure level 1 is general admin for these games (it was back in 2006), unless stadium management have taken their stinginess to a whole new level.

Thanks for that. We weren't sure but the upgrade price is about the price of entry anyway. I hate Etihad...

Whenever we play at Etihad I always sit on the top tier for the 1st qtr and move down to level 1 behind the goals after qtr time. Get down just before qtr time, pick out a couple of empty seats (so as not to take anyone elses) and as the game is about to restart (as lots of people rushing back to seats) flash you general admin ticket to the security guy and head straight for the empty seats.

I've done this the last 3 or 4 games at Etihad, as it's generally empty when we play there

If you have a general admission membership (you do) you're entitled to general admission only. Generally, only level three is general admission. Sometimes some (the front six or so rows) or all of level three is reserved. Levels one and two are generally reserved seat access only, but you can upgrade your ticket. It's much less than $40 to upgrade (at least for level 1, anyway).
