I just had a look. It's tough. Might have to wait one more week. lol

Might do the same ... can only find 3 locks for the division titles and they're all in the AFC.

The NFC is a nightmare to figure out - especially in the West

Yeah it's nuts. You just wouldn't have confidence with so many. Actually there's very few teams in the NFL that don't have massive gaping holes. Denver would be the only one that seems solid everywhere.

Does beg the question wether the divison winners should automatically advance to the playoffs.. The saints could go 7-9 or 8-8 or the panthers 7-8-1 or 8-7-1 and make it... While other sides could go 9-7 or 10-6 in a strong divison but not make it... Seem stupid

Nope division winner makes it. I'm happy with that.

But I do think the team with the better record should host the wildcard game. The 10-6 wildcard should host the 8-8 division winner.

It would certainly be an interesting coincidence if Seattle finished with the better record and had to go play the Saints as the reverse happened a few years back and Seattle as heavy underdogs at home got the win.

San Diego, Colts and Denver.

Was very very tempted to go Washington instead of Denver but decided against it.

Excellent array of TV games this week ...

Friday

11.30am New Orleans at Carolina (ESPN)

Monday

5.00am - 11.30am RedZone (ESPN)

5.00am Arizona at Dallas (7mate)

8.30am Denver at New England (7mate)

12.30pm Baltimore at Pittsburgh (7mate & ESPN)

Tuesday

12.30pm Indianapolis at NY Giants (ESPN)

All the week 9 games

Tough, tough week to find 3 road winners ... a point gained this week will be invaluable

Eagles

Colts

Arizona

San Diego

Washington

Eagles

Rg3 is back against the vikes. Not sure if that bothers me too much. He hasn't found form for some time. Colt McCoy looked pretty good against Dallas. Hard tipping week so I'll back rg3 in to play well.

I was going to tip the Eagles but I keeps seeing in my own mind JJ Watt smashing Foley every play...

Can't wait to watch the cards/cowboys game, is Romo playing?

Could easily end up with nothing this week

Ravens

Indy

Arizona

Should probably have put in Denver over Pats but I want to watch the game with nothing riding on it

I'm worried about him and Clowney... could this be the week?

They've given up 2 sacks in about 6 weeks, but that's mostly cos Foles is throwing it away like a frightened child.

Yeah looking at Weeden he seemed to cope well in a pinch. It's a good one that one cos win or loss, Eagles win.

I traded away Ingram for Maclin midweek. This way madness lies.

Not a bad game today, Cam needs to drop a few mph of his passes tho, reminds me of Buckley, beautiful user of the ball but if your team can't hold the ball cow it's sent to them too hard then the pass isn't any good.

I can't see him playing but they're saying he might - hasn't practiced all week so he'd have to be doubtful - you'd think.

Romo Has Fractures In Back; Might Play Sunday

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo suffered two fractured transverse process in his back in the loss to the Washington Redskins, but there remains a chance he could play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, according to multiple sources.

Romo just got pulled from the game. Good move by Cowboys.

Chargers, yuck... Well normality returns to my tipping... Filthy I've got to work today, broncos/patriots would be the perfect way to start the week

Back and forward game against Washington. Gotta stop RG3 and Jackson connecting on huge plays.

Week 9:

San Diego

.

Lol.

Pretty comfortable day for the Chiefs. Had to take care of business today. The game against Seattle in a couple weeks is shaping as the third easiest we have left, so we couldn't afford to slip up.

So this is what it feels like to have your team win two in a row.

First and goal from the Rams' 2 on the final drive of the game.

We lost.

Only Colin Kaepernick knows how to lose games from that position.

The Steelers & Ravens really don't like each other, do they?

Stand out moments today ...

49ers losing - that's gotta hurt

The Pats are right back in business and maybe Denver aren't that good

The Eagles,KC, Cinci & Arizona all had vital wins

Miami might be a good team and are the Vikes back in it?

Seattle win in unimpressive fashion but Pittsburgh continue to impress.

And Dappa, picking those division winners, Conference match-ups and wild-cards is going to be hard work - I'll have a go in a day or so.

Two stories that stick out for me are Big Ben has gone mad. Holy crap he can play. He is destroying teams with the help of a defense that can get the ball. The other story is the AFC is an absolute mess. I Wouldn't have the faintest idea how the AFC is going to play out. Apologies to St. Louis who had an awesome win.

Forgot to mention Aussie punter brad wing who scored a 2 point conversion.

8 SACKS!!!!!

A TD that should have stood, A safety that may have been against us (WTF were you thinking Austin???)

Great defensive game, but wow, 8 sacks!

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons have the Bye next week but then are on the road once again when they come up against the Gold Coast Suns on the Gold Coast in what could be a last ditch effort to salvage their season. Who comes in and who comes out?

  • POSTGAME: Port Adelaide

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
