Bombers axe Laycock

Featured Replies

The worst footballer I have ever laid eyes upon.

Hell no.

x2

Laycock is one of the worst footy players I've ever seen. He makes a mistake nearly everytime he is near the ball.

Can we start a generic thread titled "Awful player >196cm rightfully delisted from rival club. Interested?"

Yes, then one response: No.

And then lock the thread.

I don't think putting a minimum height restriction on him is entirely fair.

There are plenty of threads about players that are shorter that deserve exactly the same treatment.

It's discrimination, and I won't stand for it!

Ha.

Man this place used to get so many LOLs out of me. I've become jaded (oh yeah, I went there) and bitter at my old age. What used to make me laugh once, now makes me want to bang my head against a wall/ murder everyone.

Can't see us fitting him and Cameron Cloke in the same team.

Love this quote from that thread;

This year the PSD is very dissapointing

From OUR rebuilding position its even worse

Looks like a gap filler draft to me

PSD Pick one - L Jurrah

Rookie Draft Pick One - J McKenzie

Won't name the poster here, becasue it could have easiliy been me or anyone else. Who knew?

Who knew?

The Industrial Magpies and Chris Connolly respectively.

But yes, I definitely see your point.

Is that the biggest epic premature anger fail ever?

Did he keep his rookie spot at WCE?

Don't think they've announced their player movements yet. How he is still on a list is well beyond me.

If, but, maybe... could'a, should'a didn't and probably wont... All speculation on your part. I rarely call players spuds, so i'll just say he's not so very good.

Your point is understandable but we have been spruiking a tall versatile whom can be a 2nd ruck good mark and can kick a goal or bring it to ground.Well he is one that would make a good rookie. We are all just bringing our thoughts out- our FD will soon put us all to rest..

I don't recall any "great games" from Jason Laycock. Ash might be able to fill us in otherwise. But i wouldn't hold your breath.

Have seen him take some good strong marks in the past coming across in front of packs but injury prone

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
