Cameron Bruce bashers

He needs to lose the mo however.

Agreed.

When he walks the boundary line I get strong urges to jump the fence and rip that thing right off his face. It is the dirtiest looking mo I have ever seen outside of a porn set.

Love the mo.

It adds character.

Seriously, I like a bit of personality without being an outright d&@%head like Aka.

If it doesn't affect his footy (and it doesn't) why does it matter?

Nah, I really don't care. He can tattoo "I love fish and chips" on his head if he wants as long as he keeps taking grabs and kicking goals.

Still it is a worry Jaded knows what a porn set looks like. Nobody has ever invited me to a filming.

Bruce was,,, early in the season,,, Ordinary. The last, ah,, 5 weeks or so he's been improving week by week, and I applaud him for that. However, I still think he should fly North for Next Winter.

Bruce was great today, no doubt. My one gripe with his game is that he gave one of his trademark hospital handpasses to Watts in the last quarter, high and under pressure, and set him up to be nailed in the tackle. Other than that, it was a great game. Easily one of our best today.

I've always been a fan of Bruce. He's reads the play well and is useful linking player. Concerned about his disposal and lack of pace this year though. Could be another to have an early retirement. I was on the edge of my seat when he went on that run in the first quarter - he was going so slow I thought Bailey was goiing to run past for the handball! Wrapped when he finished it off.

Once the words "player hater" or player basher" are used in threads, it really has all the intellectual grunt and sophistication of branding an opposing view as "racist" when discussing immigration.

Bruce was good today against ordinary opposition. He is neither as great or as bad as so many analysts here believe.

He's copped a right whack on this site but today I'd argue BOG !! Step right up !!! Thats right sit down !!

ONE SWALLOW...........

ONE SWALLOW...........

It's winter,,,'FlowerPower'. Maybe one DUCK does not,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,... LOL.

Well done Cameron Bruce for playing as good a game as I can remember in recent times...

Yes you should be playing like that more often than not and I hope this game inspires you for the rest of the year.

Please work your disposal at training too Brucey. You kill me and nearly your team mates when you try and pinpoint short targets by hand or foot.

well done brucey, been solid all year

Spot on 'Watts04". The way some people talk you would think it was the ONLY good game he has played this year! They are very wrong and not good judges of a footballer's ability. BTW I reckon your man Watts is coming along very nicely indeed. I am often amazed at the criticism levelled at the kid. I think they want him to be as good as Reiwoldt already. Give him some time.

check my favourite player :D

brucey is still a very good player, and can do a lot for us. Good mature player that doesnt really stumble under pressure, just some times makes silly mistakes

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
