Didn't our great man, Cameron Schwab give him the boot?

Earlier this year, KB refused to interview Schwab and actually walked out of the studio, which is completely disrespecful and immature, going by his anology of time healing wounds.

KB annoys the hells out of me... Never wrong on anything, and infuriating to listen to. He has a knack of not understanding simple arguments that are being made to him and then blindly repeating his own inane argument over and over. FRIGGIN annoying old fart.

My favourite moment listening to his show, was when KB was going off about how Gary Ablett Snr should be voted in to the hall of fame, because time heals old wounds, referring to Ablett's involvement in the death of Alysia Horan (I think that was her name) and saying it should not affect his selection in hall of fame, because time had passed. People were ringing in and arguing that unless Ablett publicly apologised or displayed remorse for being involved in the illicit drug scene and his presence in Horan's room when she overdosed, that he shouldn't be selected. KB kept going on and on and on about time healing these wounds and people don't have to apologise. Anyway some genius rang in and asked why if time heals wounds had KB not been involved with the Richmond footy club since they sacked him in the early 90s.... KB was speechless it was GOLD....

Yes i heard that, almost worth tracking down a copy.

Like KB's Commentary of this years Jordan McMahon Game. Now that was a treat, KB could not believe his eyes at what was going on!!!!

Well they routinely post on here and comment on how information free the interviews on SEN. No kiddding.

But you keep listening because you never know when they might say something informative. Dont hold your breath though. :)

Surely it is our perogative to whom we listen too- we get stuff all from our own MFC webite.Just tell me when we have had an update re our training or injuries or what so ever9usually can read it in the press first)- that is why many of us go to radio stations to try to gleam any info

Wasn't the rumblings to do with the Melbourne Tigers (basketball) not Melbourne Demons. They do get confused on that station. KB's brain rattles everytine a no 70 tram rolls past.

Yup. Cam was the CEO, 23 years old - gave him the boot out the door. Probably hard to get over that - ego wise.

In the fantastic Richmond book written by Rhett Bartlett (KB's son), Neville Crowe, who was Richmond president at the time, makes it very clear that he was the one who did the sacking and gives his version of events (KB is interviewed about it and it's fascinating to see where the stories match and where they differ). Brilliant read and a blueprint for how to put together a club history.

Always amazes me that people want updates on training and injuries. Training is training, not much that you can update on any injuries, unless someone falls over and does an ACL, they are just week to week propositions that mean very little.

Agree with this.

Cannot agree with this. The Mfc website has provided me personally with much needed information. If you're still whinging about why the players weren't at Casey training but instead running the tan - can't help you there. They've since apologized and hope to have things rectified from what i gather. The site provides many articles and stories regarding players/club for sites such as D'land/D'Ology.

You certainly don't speak for me regarding going to radio stations (ie. SEN) to glean info (although special announcements may have me tune in occassionally ). I find I get much more from this very site and all the respected posters.

edit: thankyou.

Yer and his excuse was that "he missed him because he went to go a get a cup of tea"

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
