Jack Watts urges Ball to join Dee kids

All but confirms 1 and 2 (not that it's a secret) but also states that a meeting should take place between Ball and the Dees today. If it takes place, i think the decision over Ball will be made today.

I think so too. As a wise man once said......"things could change"

If that is an illustration of wisdom, then being a wise man has a low acceptance level.

What do you say, master?

Things could change, padawan.

Huh?! You're kidding me right? Here I am learning under a Jedi-fracking-Knight and that's all you got?! 'Things could change'?!

Back to the thread - Jack Watts good player, Luke Ball also good player. Hope both play Melbourne.

Emma Quayle said on SEN this morning that she thought Ball would get all the way through to the Pies.

Part of her reasoning was that a number of clubs are trying to 'scare' other clubs into taking Ball with their earliest pick in order to free up another youngster.

Personally, I reckon with Junior, Jones, Flash and Col we have enough senior or mature mid-field players to mentor any recruits.

Yes i heard that Interview on SEN as well. Interesting situation.

To be a fly on the wall listening to the meetings at the MFC today..Could be the most important talks this club has for the next 10-15 years.

GO DEMONS.

How good are these preseason interviews with players? the papers are just keen to fill a few pages with footy so they will sell,

as if jack watts is going to say nah i dont think we need luke ball hes getting on, theres question marks about hes body, hes

lost hes penetration in hes kick... must admit though i read the story lol

What about the muppets who made "comments" underneath the article? Typical filth supporters. I can't wait until Jack makes these idiots eat their words.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
