I hope we get them both, BUT, just remember ESSO....

VROOM, VROOM, Put a TIGER in your TANK.!!... What no RICHO & no MORTON. C'mon.

yeah i cant believe they kept Morton out.. fair enough he might be out of form.. but after losing Richo you would think they would give him a run..

wow thats awesome to see.. Butcher really does look as good as everyone says! hopefully he continues his dominance in the U18's Comp...oh and for the next 10 to 20 years :) (only if we get him of course!)

It doesn't matter where we finish because Freo and Richmond will just pick somebody retarded and leave the good one for us.

haha this is funny because its so true!!

I'd say we are a 75% chance of picking up butcher

That's a far cry from Butcher WILL be a demon.

6 goals. Nice but he's what 197cm?. Truly a man amongst boys. Looking forward to see how the year unfolds.

some interesting updates on Scully and Butcher:

so in 5 games he has averaged 3.2 goals and 1 behind per game! Now that's accurate kicking at goal!!

he also averages 11.75 disposals per game in the first 4 games.. but who cares about that when your getting the goals on the board! :)

One thing with big tall goal kickers in the TAC cup is they look more impressive then maybe they are, His height and size is a massive advantage for him at that level but once he comes into AFL he needs to have more tricks in the bag. Good example is Tom Hawkins. He probably might not do as well as everyone thinks and he is sure taking a long time.

Still not Convinced about Butcher.

Jacks Watts though I think is an exception because his speed and zip around the ground is buddy like.

funny cause i cant remember saying they were similar in weight? Although i did compare them in being big tall forwards which makes sense, so next time actually read and work out what I am saying. Shame that thick scull wont help your chances.

gippy also have a good ruck in vardy and another mid/fwd in kobey stevens he will be a gun.

yes exactly. you said they were both big tall forwards. butcher is a tall forward, hawkins is a big tall forward. learn the difference

Hawkins is in his 3rd year holding down the full forward position in the best in the comp. Hardly a hack considering he looks like he's getting better and better each week.

I suppose you'd rather Newton in your side. :P

Let's wait untill the National Championships before we place the hopes of our club on some 17 year old.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
