Melbourne's Combined Brownlow Total

Featured Replies

Mono, for crying out loud mate.

he could easily poll more than 5.

Whats wrong with you!

Zero votes for Sylvia! Y_M, I rest my case! ;)

No, not really. Hodge got 2 votes and Cox 3, so go figure.

But, to think Sylvia is one of our best is an absurdity. But he did finish the year well, so I hope he stays. :)

More humiliation. Thank god the season's over as far as we're concerned.

Amen.

Last year we had a total 43 votes... this is embarrassing...

Last club that had under 30 votes total: Hawthorn 2004- 29 votes.

Things can change quickly, hey?

Go Cale Morton in his first year and polls better than um.. pretty much everyone.

I thought Wonna was a shoe-in for a vote in the Brissy game and i'm quite surprised we polled a 1-2-3 game this season

Last club to get less then 29 votes in a season (not including us): Fitzroy - 20 (1996)...

Wow, this is bad. :o

Well six months ago I put some hard earned on cooney so was happy to see him get up, I had to search for a while until I found the ticket again. :)

Brock McLean for brownlow next yr

5 votes in a shithouse side, if he stays injury free. and picks up more 1's and 2's in losses. he'll be set for one in '09 or '10

I can't believe Yze got votes on Queens Birthday. And I also can't believe Wonna got no votes against Fremantle.

But I'm glad Bate's work against Sydney was recognised.

this even made it in to radar's roast this morning on sen!! loves kicking the demons when they are down - i would not p!ss on this bloke if he was on fire...

i am not at all disappointed....

it emphasises how far we have got to go - that we do not have a champion and the end of the season could not come quick enough!!

glad that skirt harvey did not win it - little pr!ck!!

WEagles did about the same, if you take out Kerr's 7. Even their other champ, Cox, only got 3 votes.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Agree with your 3 points here, especially Wonna in the Freo game. Pretty embarrassing though when Quarters was running through the team votes and gets to us. "There is McLean and Wheatley on 5...."

Well done Cale..

He WILL win 1, Brock also showed he can poll well..

But this is graet news for Cale, shows he get noticed, and bodes well, knew he'd get a few!

Thanks Wheats for earning me sum cooin, i had:

Any other player in my multi bet, thus, an1 other than MClean, Bruce, Green to lead our tally..

Wheats levelled brock, thus, my multi came in:

Black, Any other (Wheatley), Judd, Richo, Pavlich, Cooney, Kerr & Black to lead their respective teams

Got $13/1 for the Multi..

Thankyou Wheaters!!!

Its a real disgrace, especially when after the game Roos singled out his performance as his "worst ever"..

What a crock!!

He wrecked my main bet of the night, and i'll be forever angry!!!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
