Just take a look at the list of players the survey offers under the question 'Who is the player you most love to hate?':

Alan Didak Paul Medhurst Josh Carr Barry Hall

Jason Akermanis Mathew Lloyd Stephen Milne Jeff Farmer

Warren Tredrea Mathew Richardson Anthony Rocca Jeff White

Russell Roberston Kane Pettifer Cain Ackland Brendan Fevola

Jeff White!?! And most fans wouldn't know who Cain Ackland is. I for one didn't know he was still on Carlton's list until he popped up a few weeks back.

And of the offerred players in the 'Who is the AFL's sexiest player?', Aaron Davey and Robbo represent the MFC.

Was this survey written for Melbourne supporters only?

Robbo's probably the only bloke on the Melbourne list i've never had an argument with an opposition supporter over. Opposition people usually love him

Same. I didn't think it was possible to hate him. I thought maybe Sylvia would be there and maybe Carroll.

Still this is the same survey that essentially compells MEN to answer whom they think the sexiest player... I mean ..wtf !!!! <_<

I just answered Davey...

He does it for me...

No commnet !! lol ( though strangely I put same answer..!! lol )

Why is Dale Thomas not one of the choices in 'Who is the player you most love to hate?'???

He is the biggest F.I.G.J.A.M [censored] to play the game for a number of years. Blokes like Carey, Buckley and Akermanis were hated, but they could back it up because they were superstars. Thomas is nothing but a show-pony who does one or two good things a month, yet he act's like he is the greatest player to play the game.

Can't stand him.

sexiest! without a doubt Matthew Bate... that Ginger hair and freckled complexion does it for me every time!!

i think i need to see someone~

:o

Get out of the dark ages mate

Where's Whelan?

Haha, thats bizarre.

Surely it would have to be Carrol if anyone from the MFC

What... for sexiest? 'Cos I completely agree.

And I'm not kidding.

Dale Thomas is the new Nathan Buckley - can't stand the little [censored]!

Moose

Where's Whelan?

Was going to mention Whelan but has hardly played over the past 2 years so has probably lost the hatred towards him.

I was talking of the other question ;)

I did the survey because I reckon it's important to get melbourne voices heard -- anyone who hasn't should. there are some stupid questions but you do get the chance to say that Demetriou is doing a poor job (though I wish there was a stronger answer in the multiple choice). & I wished they'd asked "who is the greediest player in the AFL?" because then I'd have had a chance to answer old dollars Judd. he wasn't even a selection for the most hated.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
