Anybody got any info on how he went/ game time/ expected return to seniors?

That's interesting, Petterd was listed as 1-2 weeks at the MCG yesterday. Although he did play for Sandy reserves still on the weekend... who knows... <_<

Well Petterd was selected in the Sandy 2's on Friday, so there was hardly any mystery that he was going to play half a game...

Chook In Perth has reported that Moloney is out for the season, as he needs a shoulder reconstruction (source).

From MELBOURNEfc:

Brent Moloney

Brent had scans on his dislocated shoulder yesterday. It was found that there is significant damage to the shoulder and it is most likely that he'll require season ending surgery.

This will be confirmed when he meets with the specialist later this week.

Jared Rivers

Jared strained abdominal muscles in Monday's match against Collingwood. He will require further testing over the next week which will give him a better indication of the extent of the injury. Jared will be unavailable for selection this weekend.

We can only hope that young Jack doesn't get the monicker 324.

Reverse the last two numbers and double the....you get the drift.

Good luck to him, just take it easy. Plenty of time.

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
